Our story
From wholesale to retail
Originally, DAT AUTOHUS sold vehicles exclusively to export and commercial customers. In response to growing demand from private buyers, we expanded our business model step by step into retail. Because we buy company vehicles in large volumes at wholesale rates, we pass this price advantage straight on to our customers.
Quality
Inspected and documented – transparent visual used car reports
Every vehicle is visually inspected and documented in detail and receives its own visual used car report – you can download the full report as a PDF. So you know exactly what you are getting before you buy. On request, the DEKRA seal inspection is also available – the vehicle is then technically examined as well.

Two locations in the north
Our main location in Bockel (Gyhum), right on the A1 motorway, has been with us since the company was founded; our Bremen-Arsten location opened in 2012. Added to that is our online sales channel for commercial and export customers.

1996
The early days: the first vehicle lot shortly after the company was founded – a handful of vehicles behind the fence.
2000
Opening of the Bockel sales centre right on the A1 motorway – with the thatched-roof main building that remains our landmark to this day.
2012
Opening of the Bremen sales centre – our second major site, seen here from the air in 2017.
2015
Opening of the tyre centre in Bockel – tyres and complete wheels right on site.
2026
Opening of the Zeven service centre – workshop, tyres and wheels for the region.
