Licensing service for short-term and export number plates

Only possible for vehicles with a valid vehicle road safety inspection certificate ("HU"). We also require a copy of your national identity card and a letter of authority that permits us to register the vehicle on your behalf. We are happy to advise you.

The following services prices are valid for our locations in Bockel and Bremen:

* This service can only be purchased if it is ordered 24 hours before the vehicle is collected from your seller. To be able to perform this service for you, we need a valid letter of authority as well as a copy of your identity card.
** This service can only be purchased during the opening hours of the vehicle licensing agency offices. Mondays - Wednesdays until 15:00, Thursdays until 17:00 and Fridays until 11:00.

Vehicle road safety inspection for export licence

When you ask us to deal with the vehicle road safety inspection for you, the car will be inspected by a DEKRA vehicle inspection engineer. The engineer will inspect the vehicle according to the German "HU" criteria and will automatically draw up a cost estimate in the event of defects that must be repaired. You then have the option of having the necessary repairs made or of cancelling the purchase order. In that case, you only have to pay the cost of the vehicle road safety inspection ordered by you.

The price of the vehicle road safety inspection is €153.00 (including VAT).

You will need various different documents, depending on the destination country. Please note that the handling times for this service may differ.

Late collection fee

From the thirteenth working day after the receipt of your order onwards, we charge a set late collection fee of €30 (including VAT). We will charge you €5 (including VAT) for each additional day.
